Straw, Alfalfa, Fibre Pellets, Molasses, Soya Oil, Broad Spectrum Vitamin and Mineral Supplement, Limestone

Mollichaff HoofKind Complete is a highly palatable combination containing a balanced blend of oat straw, alfalfa, fibre pellets, soya oil, vitamins, minerals, trace elements, antioxidants and biotin. It is low in starch and sugar, high in fibre and does not contain any cereals.

It provides a low level but high-quality protein and restricted calories, and delivers limited, controlled energy from superb digestible fibre and oil-based ingredients. This makes it an excellent feed for ‘fizzy’ horses and good doers, as well as those prone to laminitis.

Mollichaff HoofKind Complete contains a broad-spectrum vitamin and mineral supplement and, when fed at the recommended levels to horses at rest or in light work, it needs no further supplementation other than good quality forage such as HorseHage High Fibre or HorseHage Timothy.

Independent scientific studies have found that supplementing an average horse’s diet with 15mg of biotin per day can greatly increase both the growth rate and the hardness of the hoof. Mollichaff Hoofkind Complete has been specifically formulated to contain additional levels of biotin to ensure that these levels are met.

The HoofKind Diet

Forget your shopping list of nuts, alfalfa, chaff, oil, minerals and vitamins, and specialist hoof supplements – All you need is a simple diet of Mollichaff HoofKind Complete. This complete feed in a bag contains all these ingredients, plus important natural antioxidants. When fed with HorseHage High Fibre or HorseHage Timothy, it supplies all the nutrient and fibre requirements of horses and ponies in moderate to light work (hacking or schooling 4 – 5 times a week), resting or those prone to laminitis. For an average 500kg horse, feeding the required 2.5kg per day will provide the required 15mg of biotin.

Mollichaff HoofKind Complete also contains added magnesium. Magnesium is often deficient in UK soils and is an important factor in the nutritional support of many metabolic processes in the horse.

Additional natural plant-based antioxidants are also included in Mollichaff HoofKind Complete. Antioxidants help mop up free radicals and these particular antioxidants have been specially selected for the nutritional maintenance of a healthy immune system, respiratory system, circulatory system and the all-important hooves and laminae.

Bought the sample and dampened a little for my Miniature American Horse x Falabella to try in his trug. Lucky it was a trug as he ate two mouthfuls before standing in the trug, tipping the chaff out, then rolled in it a few times!
Will try again and see if the same happens!

My Shetland gets laminitis so it’s always been a struggle to find a suitable complete feed for when she needs it. However I have been really impressed with this feed and she really enjoys it too. It’s great to have the option to give her a feed without worrying about a laminitis flare up.

My cushings old native pony is super fussy but happily ate the free sample of Hoofkind complete. It is good to be able to try him on a new feed that is suitable for good doers with cushings without worrying he will not like it and waste the whole bag. Excellent feed and excellent service. Thank you.

Had a sample of Hoof Kind when my mini Shetland was showing early signs of Laminitis, he loved the sample so switched to HoofKind full time and not looked back. No Laminitis and He’s back to his old self.

Thankyou for the free sample, my fussy mare loved it. Didnt even leave the usual dreggs in the bottom for her friend. I like that its low in starch as my mare gets very fizzy if its too high and the added biotin is a bonus as she’s on that currently so will save me some pennies.

Nina

Thank you for your sample which my laminitis prone cob enjoyed I am now waiting for a bag to be delivered. I wasn’t sure if she would eat this but she munched her way through the bag happily. Thank you again for your sample.

My mare has EMS and is on limited turnout. It’s difficult to find a feed that she enjoys but isn’t going to make her condition worse. She is also quite fussy about what she eats, but she loves Hoofkind! It looks and smells great too.

Our Fell suffers from Cushings but is going through a spell of good health and is being ridden. We wanted a feed to maintain her condition for the show ring as well as keeping her free of laminitis. Her grazing is very limited so adding HoofKind to her diet gives her the extra minerals and vitamins she needs without the risk of laminitis. Hoofkind appears to her and maintains a positive wellbeing!

I love feeding Mollichaff Complete Hoofkind to my two girls. They absolutely love it and being a complete feed, it contains everything they need. Gone are the days of mixing different products to ensure their feed containes all vitamins and minerals they need, everything is all on this bag.

Since feeding this to my girls, their hoof condition has improved so much, another great benefit to feeding this feed.

Heather

My Hoofkind complete sample arrrived very promptly – thank you very much – and was taste tested by my two native laminitis prone /cushings veterans. I am delighted to say that they both voted with their hooves and chose the Hoofkind over their existing feed which was my hope given the benefits and ease of a complete feed. I was surprised as they do not generally find ‘laminitis friendly’ feeds palatable.

I am now introducing Hoofkind Complete alongside their existing feed and plan to have them solely on Hoofkind within the next couple of weeks.

I plan to feed this with Timothy Horsehage in place of hay.

Everything they need in two easy products. Simples!

Caroline Coles

Hoofkind – abolutely brilliant product. I like to keep things simple and natural – and I can feed this to my alergic, asthmatic dressage horse and my two cushings lami ponies alike. They all lick the bowl clean and it is really easy to add any specific meds or suppliments to the feed as I know they will always eat it !! Brilliant, cost effective product
